Sharon's Story
Life
I attended Taft High, Woodland Hills in my sophomore, and junior year then returned to Northern CA for my Senior year at Sunnyvale High. I continued with school at De Anza Jr. College and worked, travelled, and planned my retirement. I owned, operated a housecleaning business for 15 years and sold the business in 2000 and retired. I married at the age of 38 years in1989 and happily married today 27 years later to a wonderful man.(today 2016) I continue to enjoy travel, (Enjoy the program for travel: Roadscholar.org ) entertaining at home, gardening, theatre and volunteering some of my spare time, and visiting my siblings and dad 89ys. I used to work p/t about 15 hours a month ( yes a month) for 12 years ending in 2013 as needed as a nanny for four wonderful children during the school year. but four adult step children. In 2011 and 2014 we were blessed with a grandsons, we spend 2 to 3 days a wk
(includes overnight) entertaining each other with books, music, songs, walks, and games. The older one is in preschool and begins Kindergarten Sept 2016. They are so smart and cuorious and loving. They have a charming smile and good sense of humor. They adds a whole new dimension to our life. . In july 2013 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Low Grade; Early stage; infiltrating ductal. I had surgery to remove with INORT (radiation during surgery). Now waiting for 5 yrs. In 2016 Im still cancer free. No current pets except for a sizable lizard in my garden. I love my life, my family and my friends. Luck and opportunity has been charitable to me and I have taken advantage of them. Enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers me.
