Time flies when you're having fun....so I must have had a lot of fun, because here I am a senior citizen...just like all of you. I'm happy to say that my life greatly improved after high school. Nothing against you guys, but coming to Grant in the 11th grade was not easy. No one was mean to me, but it was difficult to get into a clique, as it seemed they were all well-established long before I got there. Anyway, I went on to Valley College for a couple of years and graduated from Northridge in Jan '71 with a BA in Sociology. I ended up marrying my first boyfriend (usually a mistake, and mine was), and followed him to Berkeley......which was a lot of fun in the early 70's, as you might guess. I worked at the local outpatient psychiatric clinic as an account clerk, which was't fun, but it introduced me to the field of mental health, which I loved.
