I'm currently live in WA My health has not been good for the last 9 yrs I have COPD.
School
I grew up in Van Nuys when being a kid was alot of fun. I went to Hazeltine Elementry then to Kittridge when it opened, thats where I met my favorite teacher her name was Mrs Strickland, from there I went to Madison Jr, and on to Van Nuys High, well had better things to do then, and was a little wild, left van nuys high and went to Grant High. My best friends when I was growing up was...Expand for more
, Gail Levy, Sheryl Borland, Linda cox, we were always together getting into trouble. By Jr high I was in love with a boy named Roland, Who by the way never thought I would get over him. But I did, I met my husband by the time I was in the 9th grade, and the rest is history.
Military
I spent 17 yrs in ANG. I joined in 1978 in Reno, NV, where I was in base administration. In 1980 I moved and joined the Van Nuys ANG, where I really didn't stay to long. I later Went back to CA, and to Channel Islands ANG, which is the former Van Nuys ANG. worked in Personnel do Enlistments, and discharges. Left there and went back to Reno, Worked in Base Ops as the orderly Clerk, until 1996 When I moved to Central Oregon, and joined the Oregon Ang Out of Portland, became a weekend Warrior, which was new to me since I had always been fulltime. retired from the military in 1998, and AFR 2000.
