Debra Munn:  

Life Life has been full and mostly very good for me since graduating from Tascosa in 1971. I attended Amarillo College, then received a B.A. in Telecommunications from Texas Tech. From 1975-76 I was a newscaster and reporter at KDAV radio station in Lubbock, but then I returned to Tech to get an M.A. in American Literature. At that time I met my first husband, Scott Foll, and after our marriage in 1978 we moved to Tallahassee, Florida, to attend graduate school at Florida State University. In 1982 we both received Ph.D's in literature (his in English and mine in American), and then moved to Powell, Wyoming, where we taught English at Northwest College. At this time I also became a freelance writer and editor. In 1990 we moved back to Amarillo, Texas, where we divorced in 1995. In March of that year, I realized a long held dream of moving to England, a place I had visited many times and where I'd felt immediately at home. I moved to Brighton in Sussex, on the south coast of England, and in 1999 I married a wonderful Englishman, Mick Henry (although I'll always keep my own name!). We're on a long term project of completely renovating our house--something that is taking years to do, as we're doing much of the work ourselves, but it's very rewarding to see this house becoming truly our own. I also love travel, reading, and genealogy. I've published a variety of short stories, essays, and articles over the years for various magazines in the US and UK, and I've also had four books published.
