Ann's Story
I'm obsessed with the technical and artistic aspects of graphic design- my solo business of 20+ years.
I play wallyball and swim laps every few days.
I pay attention to the evolution of my favorite young people (especially my Youth Group kids); watch as old friends evolve into older friends. I keep tabs on music, diverse world views, and the evolution of my particular, peculiar marriage. I also am in weekly contact with my 2 grown kids. A daughter in Seattle and a son here in town.

more books than I can remember- so I keep track of them in a database.
I've also got a side business- creating and selling tradeshow displays and the hardware that goes with them. Lately I've been getting orders from New York, even though I'm in San Diego. Go figure. The one that ships next is going to Norway. It's certainly a flatter world.
Occasionally I lapse into highly inefficient but pleasant use of my time: Taking care of my finches, a container garden on the deck, kneading sourdough from scratch, but mostly I stay on track to pay the bills.
