ty. His sports writiig career began at a small town daily newspaper in Clute, Texas -- an hour south of Houston. That was followed by a stop in Johnstown, Pa. -- working for the Tribune before working for several suburban Pittsburgh papers as a freelance writer as well as for the Pittsburgh Press at the time.
He currently resides in Moon Township with his dog, Raymee.
