Shannon's Story
After high school I attended the University of Indianapolis for music performance. I could only stay for a semester and then worked full time for several years. I got involved with the SCA. I had three snakes and several tarantulas for pets at the time, as well as a few lizards.
I met my husband in '98 and we married in '99. We moved to Tallahassee, Florida for 3 years then returned to Indiana.
We are still married very happily. Both of us said we never had an interest in having kids, but we are finally just beginning to maybe reconsider that.
We currently have two cats and 5 snakes. We live in Lafayette, IN and I just finished a 4 1/2 year completion of a double major in Visual Communications Design and Metalworking from Purdue University. I am starting up my jewelry business and doing freelance graphic design jobs.

hought were possible were shown to be more than possible and I couldn't be happier with the introduction of certain people into my life.
I am still very much a strange person, just as much as I was in high school, but over time I became less of a door mat and with some help from my husband became a little less shy and quiet. I still have a long way to go though.
We are avid 2nd edition AD&D players, we love rpg videogames, and don't watch too much tv save a few shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Recently we've come to watch Lost and Heroes and the new V, though we still like the old V as well. Our home is a drama free home and that's the way we like it. We tend to stay home a lot because that's where we're most entertained and comfortable. Playing the table-top role-playing game with friends and family is the greatest time of enjoyment for me. My husband's been playing AD&D since he was 7 years old. It is a passion we both share.
