Patti's Story
Life
I started out at YSU (Go Penguins and got married (temporary insanity) and had a son. We moved to Orlando. I went back to school (Valencia Community College) and had another son. We moved to Miami. I went back to college (Miami-Dade Community College/Florida International University) and, you guessed it, had a son. Got rid of the husband (legally), got my degree and became a teacher. Not my life goal but with three sons, the plan was to be home with them on breaks (wrong!) Then Hurricane Andrew hit- I came back to Ohio but nationally ...Expand for more
no one was hiring teachers. Returned to Orlando and started over. The boys are grown, one in the USMC (deployed); one "finding himself" (Lord help us) and one to graduate this year. I sincerely miss Niles. At least we know how to drive there. It rains here and these rebels go nuts- Lord forbid it should ever snow!
My purpose in life is to drive people crazy here- especially when YSU beat UCF for the AA National Championship and this past year when Buckeyes beat U of M! Oh Yeah!!
