Nickolas's Story
During high school I played football and baseball all four years. It was a lot of fun being a part of the first official 4 year class at Pocono West.
After high school I attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. I played football there for four years as a tight end (Go Goldenbears!). I also assisted the community with volunteer work. I learned throughout the years to always stand my ground and stick to my beliefs. I also learned that college can be a bunch of fun, but I needed to stay focused and graduate (that way I can get a good job).
Like any college graduates, I assumed I would be able to start my career for a good company the moment I graduated. This was not the case for me, I had to work some dead end jobs for a while, which can get frustrating pretty fast. After about 6 months of the...Expand for more
retail world, I finally got a shot to start my career in sales and marketing with a growing company in East Brunswick, NJ. I started entry-level, but I moved up through the ranks pretty fast and was promoted to management in 7 months. After doing such a great job representing our energy client, I was asked to run an office in South Jersey (representing the same energy client).
Many of my values were always focused on helping others succeed and impacting lives. I've always believed that in order to be successful, an individual has have honesty, integrity, a great student mentality, and an unstoppable work ethic. These values put me in the situation I'm in now (President of Aspromonte Marketing & Consulting).
It's been a great experience so far, but I'm very excited to see how the next few years go!
