Judith's Story
Well I dropped out of school and got married in September 1967. Actually I attend Continuation school for a while, but didn't actually get my GED until 1986...better late than never! I married John Smith and we had a daughter, Leanna in 1969 and son, Robert (Rob) in 1971. We moved to Redondo Beach, CA in 1970, were we stayed until our divorce in 1988. I concentrated on being a wife and mother but take classes here and there, and part time jobs as well.
I met my husband, Matthew in Redondo Beach. We married in 1990 and have two sons, David who is 18 and Daniel who is 17. After moving to Victorville, CA where I attend Victor Valley Community College for a couple of years, we moved to Illinois . We finally moved to Wisconsin, where my hubby is from in 1996. ow the old adage, the grass is always greener, yeah well soooo not true! We moved here to Texas and do NOT love it here. However here we are and we'll make the best of it.
Some of you remember my good friends from high school I'm sure. Linda Baumgardener, the last I spoke with her is in Oceanside, CA. Anna Edgar is in Flordia, she came to my mom's funeral in 2000 and it was like we had never been apart. Judi Toker is on classmates and I reconnected with her recently. Jimmy Terral is on classmates as well and of course I know where he is as he is my uncle. I am so looking forward to making contact with others, you know high school really is a big part of who we became I think and of course I want to know that everyone is doing well!
