Jim's Story
Life after 50!
Well the family and I opened a BBQ restaurant starting in Jan. 2009 here in Poway, Ca. we have named it "Jimmy's Brick Pit BBQ" I quit Cox Communications after 12yrs, and to think I had started working at COX 3 day's after retiring from the NAVY (and I said I was only going to do 4years in the Navy), my wife Debby and I just had our 24th anniversary hard to believe she still puts up with me, she's also retired (Oct. 2003) has a home business sewing/embroidery (SewSleepy), my daughter Debi (hair stylist)is now working at Rose's Salon on Coronado Island, Jim Jr. was injured while playing baseball during his 2nd year of college, and now works full time here at the BBQ. I'm riding a 2003 Harley NightTrain (not riding as much as I'd like) and I'm already trying to figure out a way to get an UltraClas...Expand for more
sic, I no longer coach varsity baseball at Morse h.s. here in S.D. I gave that up in 2006 which I started in 2003, prior to that I was coaching at twin hills L.L (t-ball thru Senior league) from 1984 until 2004 (never have been able to shake that baseball bug). I actually got on this site to seek info about our 30th reunion, guess that didn't happen! Well I hope those that can make it happen won't wait to long before they decide to coordinate our next reunion, if I can be of any assistance helping please contact me.
