Life
Describe my life, HMMM. In short so far it has been better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. It basically is the same as any of your lives. I work, I play, I love, on some matters I am passionate, on others I am indifferent. I laugh, I cry, but what matters most is that I "Live" before I die. I have been married since 1987. I once told my wife "Honey I couldn't buy a better wife than you." To which she responded, " That's cause you couldn't afford one!" We live in House Springs Mo. We weren't cursed, I mean blessed with children. I think this is a result of what my mother said to me many years ago. "Someday I hope you have a child that is just like you!" child's view on live is much more simplistic, and offer us a refresher course on being ourselves. In lieu of children we have pets, at present we are owned by three cats. All of which were throw away's. We lead a pretty simple life. We occupy a self serve dwelling. Our guest know where both the bathroom, and the refrigerator are, so there is no need to ask if ya can use the restroom, and on your way back grab me a beer. Our home is on a main thoroughfare, and sits on roughly an acre. We bridged a small creek that runs through our property. On the near bank of the creek we built a bonfire pit, the bridge leads to the remainder of our property; an open area, beyond which lies several acres of woods. I guess the secret to life varies among us all, to me it has been the ability to differentiate between pleasure, and happiness. To me pleasure is external and happiness comes from within.
