Glenn's Story
Woot - Long time since high school. Lessee... Went to UVM, majored in English, found myself kinda unemployable after all that effort. Sold woodstoves and newspaper advertising for a few years in Burlington and Lebanon NH.
Got hired at Aetna Life & Casualty and did the whole claim service thing for a number of years, got married in 1981, left the company and went out on my own as a trial preparation investigator.
That led to Vermont Law School, JD 1989. I was hired at a Montpelier, Vt. law firm and have been there ever since. Legal practice is mostly municipal, business and environmental law and litigation. Anne and I have two fantastic kids, who teach me more than I ever learned be...Expand for more
fore they were around.
Aside from skiing, my spare time stuff includes a small pro sound company (StudioAlchemy) doing concert sound reinforcement in local venues, and remote recording of concerts, theater, bar gigs, demos and whatnot. I'm the sound engineer for Rusty Romance, the hottest Roots 'N Roll band in the State of Vermont (google 'em) and I've been a flatpicker for over 40 years.
I manage stress with martial arts, meditation and chocolate. Otherwise, I can usually be found planting perennials, butchering wooden things, welding unfortunate gobs of steel, swatting mosquitoes, fixing the tractor, rebuilding guitars and wrestling with stone walls at our place in Middlesex.
