Garrett's Story
Short life story before I tackle some of the "Story Ideas" in school-boy essay form. I was and am still a weird, introverted, nerd. I finished college. Worked too much. Didn't hang out enough with friends because I worked too much. Huge regret of mine. I got really sick after graduation which distanced me even further. A year and a half later I was extremely healthy and lived life to the fullest, partied, hung out with friends, got a promotion, and was opening up to the work buddies around me. I met my wife around this time, and eventually moved across the country after a year and got my work to transfer me. I enrolled in law school. About a year after that we moved in together and another 1/2 year we married in Vegas at a casino named after some famous sword. Best decision in my life. I bounced around some jobs (Hasbro was the most fun) and studied until I got really sick, worse than last time. Never the same since that. Lost my job, couldn't stay well enough to fulfill the no-fault mandatory attendance policy there (because of a certain Ms. Rhode Island pageant contestant that pissed off a bunch of students because she was never showing up at class). So I never finished my J.D. and that makes me a very sad panda. The end. Now on to schoolboy essays.
Teachers I would love to see again:
Mrs. Frederick because she was extremely funny to me. I still remember her story about having to go over an embarrassing typo in a research paper that ended up as the f word.
Ms. Devlin, because she said I made her tingle and I had to hear that for the rest of the year.
Mrs. Perkins becau...Expand for more
se she was so interesting having seen so much of the world and relating those experiences such as, 'The toilet paper in Russia was really rough and you could see lots of woodchips in it'. Anyone remember the tank joke?
Ms. Petersen because she wore her emotions in her vocal cords and yelled at everyone when she had PMS and had the balls to just say that. She was also very funny and witty.
Mrs. Ladwig from St. Chris because she taught me lots of stuff about life in general in addition to what was in the books.
Wildest thing I ever did in school--
I activated a fire extinguisher in algebra class in 8'th grade and a bunch of people instantly had gray hair.
I was joking around and assumed the pin was in it. I was wrong, there was no pin, and when I squeezed down it went off. Didn't get in trouble miraculously. I think I pretty much saved my wildness for college. Oh yeah, went to Vegas as a Senior, sat down at a video poker machine, hit a $100 hand and in my haste to cash out and get the heck out my hand slipped and hit the call attendant button and I got carded and booted without getting my money. Friends got booted too so I was like the killjoy of that trip for them. Never been back to the Imperial Palace since.
To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom?
I'd be completely healthy where I already am, maybe Australia or Canada, maybe heaven. I'd be learning and playing video games. I'd be spending time with family and friends.
Biggest pleasant surprise in my life
Meeting my wife. Never thought there was a person out there that would make me want to get married.
