Bill's Story
okay -so here's the deal. I moved to Las Vegas in 1990 and never looked back. It's been a roller coaster ride of experiences and excitement. I have mostly worked in the casino industry and then some. I found my niche' in Human Resources specializing in the field of Training and Development but also did my fair share of employment, internal communications and employee events. Geez -who ever would have thought i'd plan the party for thousands of employees - their kids and more - whew!!
a few years ago (2003) i adopted a dog - my welsh corgi Ellie. I never thought a pet would mean anything to me -but wow - i'm crazy about that little girl. she seems to love me for me - and i can't believe how forgiving she is, and for anyone who knows me, you know i need a lot of forgiveness!!
i love to travel. recently i completed a 12 day mediterranian cruise and saw some amazing ports. my favorite places are anything carribean and i totally love the southwestern united states and spend a lot of time in southern california, arizona and southern utah. i like hiking and day trips. i collect magnets from my vaca...Expand for more

i like to read about and watch tv shows about true crime. i'm not planning to commit any but i think it's amazing how forensic science works. in fact, it seems to work so well i'd be afraid to commit any crimes.
now here's a surprise for you. i decided to change my name when i moved to las vegas. it just seemed like such a bold move i wanted a bolder name. so it's not that i really changed my name - i just switched to using my middle name. I go by Wes now. It's been since 1990 and so it almost feels like the only name i've ever used. The name Bill is a long forgotten memory for me now.
i used to wear glasses. i hated that. they developed this wonderful surgery called lasik. as soon as it was avalable for me i was signed up and ready to go. of course they now have the coolest italian designer frames now for those who wear glasses but i don't care i love being free from them.
i have changed significantly since those days long ago in niles but i often remember them fondly.
