Timothy's Story

Life I am a neurologist with special training in sleep, neurophysiology and epilepsy. I am currently taking care of children and adults in the Philly area. Hope to be out of debt someday. The more you know the more you owe, I've come to learn. I published a little, about esoteric childhood sleep disorders something I started at the National Institutes of Health. I Love my current job where I have been practicing for 21 years. School I was a post doc fellow at the NIH from 1999-2001 which was a grant to study epilepsy and sleep medicine in children with very rare brain tumors (hyp0thalamic hamartom...Expand for more
as) which caused these very young kids to laugh as a manifestation of their seizure (gelastic seizures) Prior to that, 1995-1999 I was a resident at UMDNJ in the field of neurology. Prior to that I was a med student at St. George's University, which had to have been the best time of my life. Prior to that I was a research scientist at Schering Plough, Inc. in Bloomfield, NJ, studying viruses (picornaviruses which cause the common cold), and trying to find a treatment against these viruses, which eventually turned out to be Tamiflu. Prior to that I was a biology major at Rutgers (another good time).
