Therese's Story
Well, I have remained single, but raised my daughter (in the picture) on my own, with a lot of help from God and family. lol
I have worked in the insurance field, medical field, accounting field, recreation field for the elderly in nursing homes, as well as being a supermarket cashier. I love diversity.
Now, I have returned to college for the 4th time, to attain my associates degree in Applied Science in Medical Transcription. I attend Kaplan University Online, which is the best, because I am at home, and able to attend class and do my school work around my daily schedule. .0 GPA. I know, it's crazy to me also considering I graduated in the lowest percentile of our class. Heck, I didn't find out I was graduating until the day before the Baccalaurette Mass. LOL It's funny how you approach life when you have matured. :-)
My goal when school is finished is to find a full time medical transcriptionist position within a hospital, preferrably a government one, (better benefits). If I live long enough to retire, I am hoping to transcribe by freelancing, while enjoying my little bit of Social Security. lol
I guess that's enought information about me for now. Hope I see some familiar names here. :-)
