Sophia's Story
It is January 2009. I am newly divorced and looking forward to an awesomely fantas-terrific new year! Old things are passed away.
I always wanted to be a model when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a model idea. As it turns out, they were right! I modeled straight out of high school until I started a family, then re-started my modeling career just recently. This year in fact! It's crazy....but I'm having a ball..
I blow off steam by praying in tongues!!! Ha! Works every time... Nonsence cannot exist in the presence of the Glory.
I also relax by taking long, hot bubble baths by candlelight with a little jazz playing in the background. The ambiance, hot water, Calgon... takes me away.
The wildest thing I ever did in school was to cut class and head to McGuire AFB to hang out with friends! Always loved older men. OOOOooo, who knew...
My heroes are my mom and dad. Mom is the epitome of strength and dependability and dad is full of courage and character. Both have taught me very valuable lessons in life.
Other than Trenton, I have lived in Burlington, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Atmore, AL (you don't wanna go there, LOL!), Mobile, AL and Memphis, TN. Although, I am presently in Memphis, I feel that I won't be here forever. Destiny is calling....
The one person I'd like to see from my past is Richard Brown from my high school class. He kinda disappeared off the face of the map. I'd like reassurance that he's okay.
I like basketball a...Expand for more
nd football (Steelers fan from waaaaayyy back!). I also take an interest in the Olympic Game. I love America's Next Top Model, House, and law dramas - CSI, NCIS, Law and Order.
I don't believe I have any obsessions, but I'm a very sensual person and live to enjoy the pleasures of all my senses....the smell of a spring day or the cleanliness of the air after an electrical storm, the dampness of the earth during a spring shower.
I thoroughly enjoy the taste and textures of delicious foods...it's almost erotic for me.
I enjoy feeling the caress of a gentle breeze across my skin, the caress of my loving cats Gracie and Chunky, etc.
I've always had expectations as to how my life would turn out. Well it didn't turn out how I expected, LOL! But my heavenly Father is so awesome, that He's turning things around so quickly it's practically making my head spin. I've made up for a lot of lost time and lost loves in such a short time span - which is why I am so incredibly excited about what 2009 yet holds.
January is already awesome and this month sets the standard for the rest of the year.
If you want to get something accomplished this year, start now! January sets the standard for you making it happen. If you want to get rid of baggage, do it now. So you can have your hands free to receive all that the Father has for you this year. You cannot receive in 2009 if your hands are full of junk and baggage from 2008!
Be blessed family!
