Regina's Story
This is from 2001:
Over the past 25 years (since graduation from UMSL), I have worked in journalism, public relations, and now technical writing. My specialty now is writing online help for computer applications.
My pride and joy is my 21-year-old daughter Christine, who will graduate from Northwestern University in Chicago the same summer as our 30th high school reunion - 2002. Her degrees will be in English and Journalism!!! She also is engaged to marry her boyfriend of four years (by then) that summer. I'm crazy about him, too!
I have volunteered to help the 30th reunion committee with publicity, so you should be hearing from me soon. We plan a January 2002 mailing.

Life changed enormously last year a...Expand for more
round this time. I fell in love with one of my best friends, Bill Townsend, who worked with me on the newspaper at UMSL. He had been separated for a year, and I had been divorced for ... um ... 25 years.
It's amazing to me how love changes everything; in fact, that's one of our songs at our wedding on July 4 in St. Louis!
The other great thing that has happened is my daughter and son-in-law are adopting an infant whom they have named Deven Alexander. He was born only 10 minutes from their home in the Los Angeles area. Deven has brought a new kind of joy to their home and mine. Again, it's amazing how ....
December 7, 2009 update:
Bill and I tied the knot on July 4th this year. Despite my fears after 26 years of "divorced life," I am thoroughly enjoying being married!
