Pam's Story
After graduation from Concordia College,Moorhead, I taught HS English/Speech in Killdeer, ND for 2 yrs.I met my husb. there & we were married in 1974. We lived in Glasgow briefly, then moved to Williston, ND where I was employed as an insurance agent. After the death of my husb's. bro, we returned to Killdeer. I took time-out from the workforce to raise our 4 kids. Once they were in school, I took a job as Social Services Director at a nursing home, where I've been for 20+ yrs. the area. I am the past president of the Long Term Care Social Workers of ND & continue active in the organization. Our son Kolter is a geologist in Denver, dtr Kara is a behavioral analyst in Carbondale, Ill, dtr Jana is an interior commercial architect in Minneapolis and son Justin works in the engineering dept. for BNSF. We have 1 grandchild. My mother still lives in Glasgow & I get back there often. We have established scholarships through the Glasgow Ed. Trust Fund in memory of my Dad, Willy,sister Terry, Bros, Matt & Tim and in honor of my Mom Charlotte. My ties to Glasgow remain strong.
