Judy's Story
I left Snow Lake in 1968, I will never forget the town I grew up in and realize now how small community life is so great for growing up in. I graduated from Elmwood High School in Winnipeg in 1971, worked for a year and met my husband during that year, then attended Red River Community College taking a business course, was hired by CIBC, had 3 children all males, continued to work on and off for CIBC. emi retires in the next year or 2. He is in custom house framing with his own business employing 3 young men at present. We live in East St. Paul, Manitoba, just outside the perimeter of Winnipeg, better known as Bird's Hill, Manitoba. We love it here, have met many close friends and extended family is not far away. Our boys are 35, 31 and 28 years old, our eldest works at Shaw, our middle son is a new chiropractor in his own practice and our youngest is a city of Winnipeg firefighter. We all spend a great deal of our summers at Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba where we have also met many good friends and have family close by as well.
