Life
Hey there,it's December 11th and I'm on a roll here. It's that time of year where I'm super buisy getting ready for the New Years Parade. This my 49th year in the string bands and I'm still excited to be doing it. I satrted the Irish American string Band in 1999. I have been married 3 times and I finally got it right. My wife is in the band as well and I can truely say she is my best friend. We've been married only 5 years, and I made her a promiss the very first time we went out. n adventure. I have 4 kids of my own and 9 grand babies ranging from 14-2 mos. I spent 2 tours in Vietnam and 14 years in the USCGA as a commander. Hell, I even ran for congress a couple of times. Life is still a blast and I hope to god I'm only at the 1/2 way mark.
Well, in a nut shell, that's what keeps me going. I am looking forword to seeing all of my old friends at our 40th reunion. Just remember one thing. Life is a real blast. If you can't have fun and laugh, lay down, and turn your ID card in. Because life is over.
