Jo's Story

I have recently left my position as diabetes nurse educator at RWJMS in New Brunswick, NJ. I am not currently working for pay, but I’m volunteering with the Medical Reserve Corp of Hunterdon County as a vaccinator against Covid 19. I am persevering at learning Italian ( Ciao Amici in Cranford) and am learning to paint ( not houses) at the Visual Arts Center in Summit. Both of these have been of interest to me but I didn’t have time to pursue them until now. My husband ,Roy, and I are enjoying living in Clinton township. where parking is never an issue and several friends are within throwing distance. We love having the “ big sky” ...Expand for more
view as we drive around.. Not looking forward to the cicadas’ arrival in the next week or so. It’s been ghastly hot in Clinton twp this past week. ..you’’d think it was summer..😎. Wondering if a reunion is in the early planning stage for our 60th yet. I would be happy to help but not to lead the mission. Just got my first Subaru suv; love that smooth ride. We’re vaccinated and awaiting word of a booster in the future. I’m in the process of giving up mowing my own lawn ( husband seriously allergic to freshly cut grass). The no-seeums will drive you crazy when you’re trying to mow and edge. This is a job that I won’t miss terribly.
