Jayne's Story
I left Shelton to go to S.C.S.U. for collage. From there I went to Maine for a few years. Froze my butt off! From there I went to lower Vermont, then to central Vt on the border with New Hampshire. I worked for several years at the VA hospital, in the ER. Absolutely loved my job. But we lived up on a mountain with 5 miles of switch back dirt roads, so high it could be raining down below (or snowing) and I couldn't tell because all I could see was a sea of silver clouds that looked like water. e dangerous 9 months of the year with mud season where the road actually collapsed under the car, had streams running across , under or over it that would freeze after dark, would be covered with ice or snow and was the last road to be plowed. I had enough of the cold regardless of its beauty and moved to south west Florida. I love my sea breeze, warm temps and lack of snow! I still work in the local hospital, only now I have my national and state licence to be in the pharmacy making IV's rather than trying to get one into some crazy person. I just make it and bring it to them and wish them well lol
