Life
Jim McKernan Class of 63' I was on the baseball team at CD and after graduation went into Merchant Marines and later graduated from Temple in 69. with an Education degree. Served with Navy in Vietnam and then got a Masters Degree in Ireland working with Irish Gypsies... and a PhD in peace education studies in Northern Ireland. education at U of Limerick in 93 and moved to North Carolina to take up a Distinguished Professorship in 1994. Married Valerie, a Galway girl, in Ireland in 74 (wife died in 2003) have a fine son, Ross now 23. I teach at East carolina University in Greenville NC.
