Glenn's Story
Life
Imediately after graduation I entered the Navy. I was in for 6 years as an Electronic Technician supporting shipboard radar systems. I did 2 tours in Vietnam working with Seal Teams and was involved in the Siagon evacuation at the end of the war. Ran into Joe Ring on shore leave once in Subic Bay, Phillipines. After getting out I went to work for several small electronic firms in Southern California and eventually making my career with Hughes Aircraft Co. I became a field engineer supporting radar systems installed on aircraft carriers. I spent 10 years riding carriers as a civilian. I did a year assignment in Taiwan as a tech advisor to the Taiwan Navy, and 10 years in Las Vegas, NV. suppor...Expand for more
ting air search radar systems located on the Nevada test site (yes, I worked with aliens). I now am residing in Morro Bay, Ca. with my beautiful bride, Sylvia. I am a property manager for AT&T managing over 1.5 million square feet of AT&T's properties from Santa Barbara, Ca up into San Jose, CA. My wife and I both love to hike and backpack the central coast up into the Big Sur. My other hobby is photography which where I live is a perfect place for my hobby. Sylvia and I do a lot of world travel, but we have yet to find a place as beautiful as where we live. We have the most stunning sunsets on the planet. Many of which I have photographed.
