I hope friends I had in school remember me as a friend who spent a lot of time making them laugh. The serious side would develop long after BHS. I always wanted to be a vagabond when I grew up. After a career traveling the world in the Navy I've settled here in SoCal. I've worked in private sector for a while, but eventually went back to my roots in public service. Within the next several months I will be breaking in as a part-time associate professor at a private university. Its time to start planning my third career. I plan to retire from full time employment at 58 and that's looking good so far. Meanwhile I need a change of scenery about every two years. Next change coming on January 5th, 2009. I always keep a sharp pen next to my resume, but I have my conditions. I live in what I consider paradise and I'm not leaving.... yet. I spend much of my free time reading, playing golf and fishing. Anything I can do with my three, now adult, sons is good. Don't ask me about this TV show or that TV show. I have no time and even less interest in sitting and watching. I'd rather be doing.
