Debra's Story
Has it been almost 20 years already!? Seems like a blink.
After graduation I took the scenic route through Cal Poly Pomona, majoring in Marketing, then International Business, then Marketing again. During that time I sang in a band, chased shoplifters, began my career as a makeup artist, and enjoyed a stint as a police dispatcher. Then I decided I wanted to be a flight attendant and in 1999 did just that. I was sent to New York (my favorite city in the world) right out of training and lived there for three years.

and happy single mom to two little girls who pay me back on a daily for all the terrorizing I did when I was their age!
I am now in my ninth year as a flight attendant and training instructor. I am still based in New York and fly international routes-mostly London and the Caribbean. I decided that ten years in college wasn't enough so I went back to school in 2006, this time as a pre-med student. Six classes to go! I figure I'm going to be old either way so I'm doing what I was meant to do all along-be a physician. It just took me a while to figure it out.
I still remember EVERYBODY and I'm glad to see that so many of us turned out so well! I hope the Class of '89 gets it together for our 20 year reunion!
