Annette's Story
Life
After graduating from Montclair State, I taught English at Irvington High School for 7 years.
We (my husband, Pedro Perez ESHS-'69) have been living in Waco, Texas since January of 1980. I continued my teaching career at University High School as an English teacher. I directed the drill team and cheerleaders for 8 years--kinda funny for someone with 2 left feet and no coordination!

My career has spanned 31 years in public education--as a teacher, instructional facilitator, assistant principal and finally---high school principal. I retired from this role at University High School in 2004 and currently work as Coordinator of Secondary Campus Leadership at the Region 12 Education Service Center here in Waco.
Pedro and I have been married for 35 years and have traveled extensively in Europe, China, and Russia.
We look forward to vsiting with everyone at the next reunion!
