Christopher's Story
After graduating from Giles High School in 1990 ... I attended Radford University, where I was a member of the Highlander's Div I soccer team, and I graduated in 1994 with a BBA in Management Information Systems.
On October 30, 1994 I started my IT career with EDS (Electronic Data Systems) as a Computer Operator at Pulaski Furniture, where I worked until January 31, 1997. Then, I transferred to the EDS office in Herndon, VA on February 1, 1997 where I was a Systems Administrator for EDS Technical Field Services until December 31, 1999. [In May of 1997, I started supporting the DC United soccer team's computer network on a volunteer basis]
On January 1, 2000 I transferred to a new group in EDS, Intelligence & Emergency Management, and worked as a Service Center Analyst in McLean, VA for 6 months. On June 19, 2000 my career took me to a new company, BAE Systems, where I was a Systems Analyst in McLean, VA for 6 months.
On December 4, 2000 I incorporated my IT Consulting business, CWCIT.COM, Inc. which I had been running part-time under the name of CWC IT Services since the summer of 1999. My first IT Consulting contract was with DC United, and I supported them until the summer of 2001 when I started pursuing my second IT Consulting contract.
The events of September 11, 2001 caused government funds to be re-allocated, and delayed the start date of the contract I was pursuing.
On December 7, 2001 I signed an IT Consulting contract with Mindbank Consulting and accepted a Team Captain position with Getronics/DigitalNet. I started working on the FBI Trilogy contract in February, 2002 which involved 90% travel to FBI offices around the USA.
On June 28, 2003 I moved to Claytor Lake, VA and continued working on the FBI Trilogy contract while flying out of Roanoke, VA. When this contract was completed in May, 2004 I dissolved CWCIT.COM, Inc. but continued to run CWCIT.COM part-time as a sole proprietor.
CWCIT.COM, in ...Expand for more
affiliation with Commission River, provides free web-based tools that assist consumers in finding and comparing the least expensive and the highest quality communications products and services available on the Internet today!
On May 24, 2004 I accepted a full-time Systems Engineer position with ManTech International Corporation to work on the Department of State GITM contract that involved 50% travel to US Embassies and Consulates worldwide.
[Even with all the traveling, I still found time to fall in love in February 2007, and was engaged from July 2007 to July 2008]
After completing active directory installations in 30 states and territories throughout the USA from February 2002 to May 2004 ... and performing active directory migrations in 21 countries around the world from May 2004 to July 2008 ... I decided to retire my suitcases on July 4, 2008 and return home to the New River Valley of south-western Virginia where I completed four months of Internet Marketing and Personal Development training.
On November 2, 2008 I accepted a contractor position with AllStaff Technical Solutions as a Project Manager for Lockheed Martin on their Army Corps of Engineers Output Device Refresh contract. Then, I spent the next 6+ months traveling around the USA to manage installations until the contract was completed in May 2009.
Once I was able to concentrate on marketing full-time again, I searched for a company with a great reputation, a unique product that was in high demand, highly consumable, and sold well regardless of the state of the economy ... and I finally found the right fit ... JavaFit.
On May 20, 2009 I became a Distributer for Javalution Coffee Company, who developed the first functional gourmet coffee that is enhanced with vitamins, minerals, and fat-burning nutritional supplements in 2003, and sells under the brand JavaFit.
